To Travel is to Live: The Beauty in Travel

Hans Christian Anderson once said,

“To travel is to live.” Indeed, life is not meant to be lived in only one place.

I whole heartedly believe in this motto.  To travel is to live.  We cannot stay in one place, there are countries to explore, many great things to see and a million experiences to be had.

One of the best things to do when you need to relax and rejuvenate is travel.

It is also the best way to enjoy nature’s bounty, experience new adventures, and explore wonderful landscapes.

To travel means to go on a journey, an expedition, an exploration.

We all have our own reasons to travel. For some, they travel to escape their routine life. For others they simply want to explore nature and the wonders that the world has to offer.

Other people, however, aim to examine, investigate, or probe places, cultures, and events.

Whatever the reason, travel provides solace and we all return a little more whole.

Hiking great mountains, drives on beautiful, endless roads, swims in great oceans and relaxing on white sand beaches are just a few of life’s pleasures.

But culture can provide the greatest of all. Delving into new rituals, occasions, and ceremonies opens the mind to new ways of thinking, appreciating this world for the diverse eclectic entity that it is.

All the virtues of this world provide us all with the opportunity to experience, to understand and to know not only the people of this world but also ourselves. These activities and endeavors facilitate not only relaxation, and understanding but also learning.

Give yourself time to unwind and to relax once in a while. Set time to travel alone, with your family or with your friends. It does not matter if the place is only hours away or days away.

The important thing is that you relax, learn and create memories of your journeys.
